Who We Are

Thanks for checking out Mindful Motion Therapy LLC. We love that you are stopping by and hope you find what you need here on our page. We are a pediatric occupational therapy practice that takes a holistic approach to incorporate the whole family. We strive to help you and your child be the BEST version of themselves. We currently are taking private-pay patients only, but will be taking insurance soon!

Why People Choose Us

mindful mOTion

All children develop at their own pace. For your child, this may look like decreased fine motor skills, decreased ability to regulate situations, anxiety with transitions, decreased gross motor skills.

Helping children be mindful of their body awareness, spatial awareness, and motor skills at home and in the community. Mindful Motion was created to teach children strategies that they can incorporate throughout their day to increase independence and reduce anxiety.

Why we are different...

Mindful Motion is privately owned and operated by Dr. Stacy Wilcox OTR/L.

With a small and quiet space, you can rest assured that we only treat one child at a time. This eliminates distraction and decreases cross-contamination while allowing for a safe and positive environment for your child to thrive.

If the hustle and bustle of a clinic are not for you,  then Mindful Motion Therapy LLC. is your place.

Mindful Motion Therapy LLC. is HIPPA compliant and follows all CDC guidelines in regards to COVID-19.

Compass Wellness requires all persons in the building to wear a mask at this time-once in Mindful Motion space, it is up to the family. Dr. Wilcox is fully vaccinated.

All equipment is cleaned and disinfected between clients. If your child is unable to wear a mask for a medical reason please contact us for further information.

We ask that if your child or a direct family member is showing signs or symptoms of COVID-19 that you reschedule your appointment.

I have experience working with children K-12 with diagnoses from ADHD, PTSD, Trauma-Informed Care, Autism, ADD, ODD, Developmental Delay, and Sensory Processing Disorder.

Meet Our Staff

My name is Stacy  and my drive to make a difference is not new. For as long as I can remember I have always submerged myself into the practice of helping others. I graduated with my BA in Children & Youth Psychology in 2005, from there I went on to work with children in the water. Yes, the water is my second home. I was a swim coach, lifeguard trainer, and aquatics director to name a few. While in the pool I knew I could make a bigger impact in the world. I found Occupational Therapy and decided that was my calling.  I graduated in 2008 from Springfield College with my Masters's in Occupational Therapy and recently graduated from Bay Path University with my Doctorate in Ocupational Therapy Advanced Practice. Throughout my OT years I  have worked in Birth to Three, Private Pediatric Clinics, Short Term Rehab, Acute Care, Aquatic Therapy, Mental Health, Private and Public Schools all with common goal to teach children and famuilies to be the best version of themselves!

I look forward to working with you and your family.  - Stacy
